It’s been a busy week for the Ballincollig Business Association, but the highlight was our visit to Leinster House.
Our sincere thanks to Senator Garret Kelleher for the kind invitation and warm welcome, and to his colleague Sarah Kiely for taking such great care of us throughout the day.
Garret arranged access to the public galleries of both the Dáil and the Seanad, where we had the opportunity to listen to live debates from TDs, Ministers and Senators. We also enjoyed a fascinating tour of the building with our guide, Mike, who brought the history of Leinster House to life and reminded us of Ireland’s important role in European and world politics.
It was a real privilege to visit and an unforgettable experience for all involved.
