The 16th Annual Ballincollig Winter Music Festival is proud to present Scullion with very special guest Inni-K.
Scullion stand as one of Ireland’s most revered and influential live bands, celebrated for their originality, musical daring, and enduring cultural impact. At the heart of the group are the exceptional talents of Sonny Condell of Tír na nÓg, alongside Philip King and Robbie Overson—musicians whose collective work has helped shape the sound and spirit of contemporary Irish folk and roots music. Renowned for performances that are both intimate and electrifying, Scullion’s music blends tradition with fearless experimentation, resulting in songs that feel timeless yet urgent. Their legacy continues to resonate with new generations, underpinned by a rich back catalogue that captures decades of creative excellence.
Sharing the stage is INNI-K (Eithne Ní Chatháin), one of Ireland’s most compelling and distinctive contemporary artists. A singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter, Inni-K draws deeply from her grounding in sean-nós and traditional Irish music while consistently pushing beyond its boundaries. Her work is defined by emotional clarity, textural depth, and a willingness to explore new sonic landscapes.
Her fourth studio album, Still A Day, released in September 2025, marks her most expansive and ambitious work to date. Fully original and creatively fearless, the album weaves folk foundations with elements of ambient, jazz, and art-song, resulting in music that is both meditative and transformative. Critics have praised its luminous sensitivity and emotional reach, describing it as an album that unsettles, consoles, and ultimately affirms.
Together, these artists represent the depth, evolution, and continuing vitality of Irish music—rooted in tradition, yet boldly forward-looking.
